The Executive President of the Bulgarian Industrial Association, Bojidar Danev, who runs the project Development of a Workforce Competence Assessment System by Sectors and Regions (CASSY), was awarded a highest prize at the award ceremony Human Resources Manager 2011. 

 

The prize which was bestowed to Mr. Danev was for his overall contribution to the development of human resources in Bulgaria and for the execution of the CASSY project, financed by the Human Resources Development Operational Programme. Mr. Danev was nominated among 100 Human Resources managers and 20 non-governmental organizations.   

 

Mr. Tomcho Tomov, Head of the Bulgarian Competence Assessment Center, received the award on behalf of Mr. Danev. Tomcho Tomov introduced the audience to the basic project objectives and expected results. Moreover, he highlighted the advantages which the project has on Bulgarian vocational community and human resources.

 

The awards have been annually bestowed since 2005 after the Managing Board of Human Resources in Bulgaria and Euro Integration Foundation, National Association of Social Services Organizations and the Editorial Board of Human Resources Magazin initiated the tradition. The contest is held for the 8th consecutive year and is executed under the auspices of the Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Mr. Totiu Mladenov. The national award Human Resources Manager - 2011 is given away in 10 categories for personal contribution to the effective management of the most valuable capital - the human resources. The winners in the specified areas are chosen on the basis of information on a conducted survey and a discussion on the nomination offered.
