Analysis of the workforce competence in the IT sector – 2013

The purpose of the sectoral analysis of the sector "Information Technology 2013" is to provide a realistic and objective analysis of the latest available data for the development of the sector "IT" on current trends, problems and needs in this field. Emphasis is placed on the workforce and trends related to its developing. Data is presented for the development of the sector in Bulgaria and the sector’s place in the EU economy. The analysis is based on research as "from place" and interviews and meetings with companies and industry experts. A wide range of official sources is used - Bulgarian and European institutions and bodies, but also analyzes and studies leading consulting companies.

Analysis of the workforce competence in the economic sector of Chemical products manufacturing – 2013

The document examines and analyzes the emerging trends in production sector "Chemical Industry" in the European Union and Bulgaria in the last ten years. It has shown the importance of the sector to the gross domestic product, imports and exports and creating new jobs. It’s referred to productivity and comparisons are made with other sectors. Presented is an analysis of the impact of the legislation in the EU and the country and are given the impacts on the development of innovation and rapid implementation of efficient technologies and minimizing the negative impact on the quality of the environment and human health. Based on the analysis of developments in technology are presented analysis of the conformity of competencies of service and management personnel on production efficiency. There have been made findings, conclusions and recommendations for improvement.

Analysis of the workforce competence in the sector “Defence Industry” - 2012

The purpose of this analysis is to present the state over the past four years and the trends of development processes in the "Defence Industry" with a view to study the status of employees in this sector and the need for new knowledge, skills and competencies. Reported are requirements of the Strategy for Development of Bulgarian defense and technological industrial base. Proposed are methods for dealing with deficits in human capital.

Analysis of the Workforce Competence in Sector “Wholesale” - 2012

Purpose of this document is research and analysis of trends in human resources’ management in the sector "Wholesale" and taking into account expected changes in technological and organizational terms for the period 2014 - 2020. The main focus throughout the analysis is on human resources, competencies, professions and jobs. Most attention is paid to the framing of scenarios and forecasts for the development of human resources and research expectations to change knowledge and skills in the sector. The document analyzed the age and educational - qualification structure of employees. There were examined issues concerning the education and training of employees. Defined are scarce jobs, professions and specialties in the sector. Conclusions are made for the available and expected to appear new professions, specialties and jobs.

Analysis of the workforce competence in the economic sector of electrical equipment manufacturing - 2012

This document is a considered state of the economic parameters, administrative environment, labor, and the factors which affect sector "Production of electrical equipment." An attempt for a thorough examination of trends in the management of human resources in the sector is made, taking into account expected changes in technological and organizational terms for the period 2014-2020. A lead focus of the study is probabilistic forecast of new knowledge, skills, competencies and occupations in the sector, together with an outline of scarce jobs, professions, specialties and skills competences.
